Obituary for Louis Dellipoali

Louis Frank Dellipoali, of Stamford/Greenwich Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2017 at Wyoming Springs Assisted Living in Round Rock, Texas. He was 76 years old. Louis was born on November 15, 1940 in Stamford, CT to the late Frank and Mary Dellipoali. He is predeceased by his younger brother, Vincent. He is survived by his sons, Louis and wife, Jane of Fairfield, CT and Daniel and wife, Katherine of Round Rock, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren whom he adored, Kyle (fiancée, Sara), Nicole, Caleigh, Jaimee, Jacob, and Paige, as well as four nieces, Christy Cairo (Daniel), Laurisa Forgione (Vincent), Lisa Dellipoali, and Stacy Rameor. Louis worked for Stolt-Nielsen for over 30 years until he retired in 2003. During his time at Stolt-Nielsen, he primarily managed their communications department. Towards the end of his career there, he worked in the accounting department. He enjoyed spending much of his time after retirement with family and life-long friends, Linda Catino, Ron and Roberta Brandt, and Rocco Rosati. He had a mischievous sense of humor and would bring a smile to the faces of all who met him. He was a kind and loving father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Castiglione’s Funeral Home , 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 95 Henry St., Greenwich, CT.
