Paula Jean McHale age 68 passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer on Oct. 2, 2017 in Sarasota, FL. Jean was born on November 28, 1948 in Stamford, CT to the late Eugene Chimblo and Antoinette L. Embesi. Jean grew up in Cos Cob, CT and attended Greenwich High School. She was self-employed and an extremely talented and creative homemaker, craftswoman and cook, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family and friends.
On August 13, 1988, she married John E. McHale of Greenwich, CT, where they lived until 1990. Jean and Jack then moved to Sarasota, FL. She was an active member of the fraternal order of Eagles #2756, where she volunteered countless hours for many different events and gatherings for the past 27 years.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years Jack of Sarasota, FL, her sons Wayne J. Jansen of Orange, CT, Alan C. (Tirissa) Johnson of Greer, SC, and her Step Children Dawn McHale of Greenwich, CT, John T. McHale of Mamaroneck, NY, her step-mother Barbara Chimblo, brothers Arthur (Doreen) Chimblo of Greenwich, CT Eugene (Lisa) Chimblo of Cos Cob, CT and Wayne Scott of Greenwich, CT. Her adored and beloved grandchildren Ashlyn Johnson, Tyler Johnson and Corina Jansen, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs Shelby and Schatzie. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Dominick Chimblo. Family and friends may call at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Rd #3, Greenwich CT 06830 on Saturday November 25 from 11-1130 AM with a memorial service at 11:30 AM.
