Robert Anthony Morelli, 76, of Stamford, Connecticut, died on January 6, 2019. He was born on September 27, 1942 to the late Dominick Morelli and Mary Pasqua Morelli. He had a long career selling cars at several dealerships in Greenwich, including Toyota of Greenwich. He transitioned from automobile sales to insurance sales in the early 1990s, owning and operating Connecticut Group Services. In his retirement, Bob found his “dream job” as a starter and ranger at The Griff in Greenwich. Bob grew up in Stamford, the oldest cousin in a large and close family. He graduated from Stamford High School in 1961, and remained close to many of his high school friends throughout his life. While not a boater, Bob loved the camaraderie and friendship at the Halloween Yacht Club. Bob was a long-time member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside and a Board Member of St. Camila’s Nursing Home in Stamford. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends, especially at holidays and family celebrations.
